Bring a Texecom Connect 640 intruder alarm into any custom Crestron system. Homeowners can arm and disarm the alarm, check whether doors and windows are secure and see what the panel is reporting from the same touch panels and keypads that run the rest of the home. For programmers, the alarm state becomes available to drive the rest of the system; for example, turning lights off and closing blinds when the house is armed, or switching lights on when an alarm is triggered.
