Bring Hikvision NVR video outputs and PTZ camera control into a Crestron Custom program, built on privileged access to Hikvision’s own API development team and an extended API developed specifically for the home automation market. Layouts, camera assignments and automatic page switching are all handled from Crestron, giving a genuinely native viewing experience rather than a bolted-on NVR interface.

Supported Models

The new API calls are only available for I-Series NVRs which require at least firmware version 4.1.64 build 190119 or Super I-Series NVRs which require at least firmware version 4.1.65 build 190819. Please ensure your NVR meets these requirements before trying the module.

The first release of the integration modules provides control over the NVR video outputs.

Compatibility

Compatible with Crestron’s 2-series and above.

With the release of Crestron’s v200 Databases, you MUST use the updated module. This is functionally the same as the previous version, but has been compiled against the newer libraries

CONFIGURATION NOTE: Thanks to Eric Luckhart of Auvid Automation for pointing this out. For the API call to work, the API user must have the “Remote: Video Output Control” permission enabled

Licencing

This product is licenced PER CRESTRON PROCESSOR.

This product uses Ultamation’s cloud licencing and you will not receive a licence key. If you purchase a license AFTER you have loaded the driver, please reboot the system to see changes take effect. For more information please refer to the product documentation.

Licences, once purchased, cannot be refunded but can be transferred to another Crestron processor should a processor fail or be upgraded.

An offline key is available on request for sites that have no connection to the Internet, but this is generally not required. If the processor is ever able to connect to our cloud service, the licence will be stored on the processor and no further Internet connection is required. If an offline key is issued against your processor, you will no longer be able to migrate the licence to a different processor in the event of a failure or upgrade.

Evaluation

As with most of our Crestron Home drivers, this module can be installed and tested with full functionality within your Crestron Home evaluation system for an hour (following each reboot) so that you can offer the solution to your Crestron Home clients with complete confidence.
