Frequently Asked Questions

We've tried to answer some of the more common questions right here - please do take a look to see if we've already covered your question.

How can I move a licence to a different processor
If something happens to your processor, you can generally move the licence to a new processor, though there are some differences in the procedure, depending on what type of licence you have. For cloud licences, you can do this yourself using Ultamation's cloud management portal here. If you have an older "key" type licence or cannot access the portal, then please submit a request via the support form.  You'll need to provide your original order number, the products you want moved and the old and new MAC addresses.
What payment options are available?
We use the Stripe payment gateway for all transactions.  Stripe is a global leader in payment services and support all of the common payment methods.
Can I try a driver before purchasing a licence?
Most of our drivers do offer a fully-functional, time-limited trial so you can be confident that the product ticks all of the boxes for your project.  The trial period lasts for 1-hour and starts every time you restart your program/system.  Once you're happy, buy a licence and reboot to enable the fully licenced product.  We cannot offer a trial for products that incur downstream costs (subscriptions etc.)
Do I have to pay for a driver to use it?
Most of our drivers do have a licence fee to use them, and you should always check the specific licencing terms for any driver as they do differ - and some are free!  Most drivers also offer a try-before-you-buy, fully-functional, time-limited trial so you can be sure the driver offers the right solution before you commit.
Do I need to restart the processor after adding a new tile to my Crestron Home display?
No. Upon adding a tile to Crestron Home, it will work without the need of restarting the processor. If it does not work there is likely another issue. See the help file for more information.
