Supported Models

The module controls Aquavision TVs over IP or Serial.

Please note: There are two versions of this driver. This driver was designed for TVs released after 2023, if you have an older model, please use the legacy driver.

The version of the driver for post 2023 TVs, can be downloaded and sideloaded into Crestron Home. This version of the driver implements the new Aquavision polling commands and includes Smart TV control. There is a known bug within Aquavision (post2023) firmware, in which sending commands too quickly locks up the TV. For this reason pacing has been add to the post 2023 driver, to limit the speed of commands being sent to the TV to 1 per second. This can make the control, from Crestron Home, feel slow. Aquavision are aware of this problem, and are working on a solution. When the problem is fixed, we will remove the pacing from our driver.

Compatibility

The drivers are compatible with the latest versions of Crestron Home and can be used with custom Crestron systems when used with the SIMPL CCD Wrapper module.

Licensing

You will receive a licence key once you’ve completed your order.
This product is licenced PER CRESTRON HOME PROCESSOR.
Licences, once purchased, cannot be refunded but can be transferred to another Crestron processor should a processor fail or be upgraded.

Evaluation

As with most of our Crestron Home drivers, this module can be installed and tested with full functionality within your Crestron Home evaluation system for an hour (following each reboot) so that you can offer the solution to your Crestron Home clients with complete confidence.
