We sell hardware too!

Ultamation is known for creating reliable, innovative and popular modules; but did you know we also sell hardware too?

Being honest, it’s just one item but we are very proud of what we’ve created.  The Ultamation UC-DMX-200 is an Ethernet to DMX control interface for DIN rail mounting applications.  It features complete control of an entire 512 channel DMX universe, the UC-DMX-200 provides the bridge between any programmable Ethernet based control system and a DMX lighting system (or any other DMX controlled devices).

Putting SIMPLIfied 2 into practice

We launched SIMPLIfied 2 a few weeks ago after over six months of development.  We have found it invaluable in our office since, however it is tricky to convey this, as the best way for anyone to appreciate it is to try it yourself.  To encourage this, we released the basic version for free.  This version provides a simple mechanism to analyse your SIMPL programs for easily recognisable issues which would generate notices, warnings or errors in a normal compile but in the fraction of the time without having to go through the time consuming compilation step. Ultamation in the press!

A couple of months ago we were honoured to be asked if we would like to be featured in CEPro's Case Studies, where journalist Daniel Sait would come up to Liverpool and spend the day with us to find out more about Ultamation and what we do.  After catching up with him at ISE 2018, we arranged a suitable time for him to visit us.

Liverpool’s Knowledge Quarter at its best!

Over the last couple of weeks, we have been asked to speak at a couple of events in Liverpool.  Liverpool is such a great city to be based in, particularly with events bringing various sectors of the business community together.  Being based at Liverpool Science Park puts us in an ideal position and gives us the contacts to get involved.   This being British Science Week gives us a perfect opportunity to talk about technology and how Computer Science is so important in our future industries ... especially with Industry 4.0 on the horizon.
