The Best

The 2022 CEDIA Awards was held at The Brewery in London last Friday, unfortunately we weren’t able to make it … what an event to miss!  This year represented the 17th awards event and saw almost 400 industry professionals gather, with attendees from countries including Belgium, India, Pakistan, Cyprus, Germany, France, South Africa, the USA, and the UK.

We were following the evening on twitter and were delighted when Cooper House – the project that Stephen Nevison from Intuitive Homes and Ultamation delivered earlier this year – won Best Integrated Home Level II for EMEA.  We started to celebrate the win, only to find out shortly afterwards it had won another award – this time for Excellence in Lighting!  It then went on to win another two awards; Life Lived Best at Home and Technology Meet Design.  WOW!”

Back in September, Oliver Hall MD, was invited over to Crestron Masters in Florida, USA to do a workshop as part of his Diamond Certification.  For those of you who aren't familiar with the Crestron accreditation scheme for their programmers ... this is a big deal!

The team at Ultamation are working hard in writing new drivers to meet the demands of Crestron Programmers who are using Crestron Home.  We have a good reputation for writing drivers which work well however sometimes we might not have the right equipment available to test it

We want to make sure every single driver we publish is something you and your customers can have complete confidence in.  To that end, we've introduced a "ready for testing" badge on our shop for drivers we have in development, but feel they would benefit from some extra testing before we release the product.

If you have the equipment and want the kudos of helping make Crestron Home the best supported automation system on the planet, contact support@ultamation.com.

If there is a particular driver that you are searching for, please get in touch on the support email as it might be something we're working on or one that we can add onto the list.

We are delighted to announce that we have taken on a new member of the Ultamation team ... welcome Tom Williams!

Tom originally graduated with a Civil Engineering degree from Liverpool John Moores University, and having thoroughly enjoyed the problem solving and computing elements decided to specialise with a Masters in Computer Science at the University of Liverpool. Tom is already showing his value as a new team member and we're looking forward to what the future holds for all of us.
