Next week sees the 14th edition of Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) taking place at the RAI Amsterdam on 7-10 February 2017, is expected to attract more than 65,000 visitors to more than 1,100 exhibitors. Over the four days, the newly extended show floor will be home to a community of manufacturers, distributors, integrators, service providers and end-user.
We get a range of enquiries for our services, from people after a quick update of specific equipment, to a brand new bespoke system. Towards the end of last year, we finished a project in a house which was undergoing significant refurbishment, and as part of this the customer wanted a new system, whilst still retaining specific pieces of equipment. Ultamation worked with Intuitive Homes to design, plan and install the new system - which she felt was done "to perfection".
Oliver Hall, of Ultamation, has written another article for CE Pro Magazine, the leading trade publication for professionals involved in the custom electronics business.
Oliver talks about how TSW-X60 opens doors that previous touch panels didn't and how this has now enabled Ultamation's Lighting Visualiser to allow the user to adjust the lighting to create the perfect scene, without being in the room, or having to wait for night to fall. He also talks about the other new features of the TSW-X60.
With over twenty-five products on our shop, we have now made it easier to pay by introducing Sage Pay, which means we take all major credit and debit cards including American Express.
Over the last year or so, we have had a few enquiries to purchase the award winning themes that we have designed. We are very pleased to announce that our Lamina theme is now available on our shop.
It combines simplicity with style, offering the finest user experience. The design is built around a sliding panel concept and aims to reduce complexity for casual users whilst retaining accessibility to features for power users, all presented in a refined, intuitive UI.
If you hadn't noticed ... it's black Friday! So we are offering 10% off everything in our shop for today only. So if you've been thinking about trying that Apple TV module or maybe Theme Creator ... now is your chance.
This weekend was a momentous one for Ultamation as we saw one of our projects featured on the front page of The FT. London and New York-based technology journalist, Jonathan Margolis, visited the leafy suburbs of Bowdon, near Manchester, to see the award-winning Man Cave project for himself. I think we can safely say he was blown away; stating that the client had out California’d California.
This week we are delighted to welcome Emmanuel Bustos to our team as our latest Control System Programmer. Emma (or Manu, to avoid confusion with our other Emma!), who only arrived in Liverpool at the start of summer, joins us originally from Argentina and more recently Italy. As an experienced programmer he is getting stuck into learning the ways of Crestron and how we work, and with Spanish and Italian as his other languages it adds to our growing portfolio of multi-lingual touch panels.
As GB sees itself climbing up the Olympics Medal table with more gold medals today, Ultamation are also celebrating with our very own Oliver Hall getting his Gold Crestron Master Programmer.
The examiner commented "You have really raised the bar on the others with not only your programming knowledge but industry knowledge. I also really appreciated the amount of time spend on the documentation part as it was very helpful with testing out all your examples ... Congratulations Oliver on a job well done. "
We have a great opportunity for someone new to join our team as a Control Systems Engineer.
We require a highly motivated individual, with a “can do” approach and excellent technical knowledge in computing and networking to join the company working in the exciting world of control systems and the “Internet of Things”.
